5/8/09

Well today is Friday. That I am so happy about. Beth's shower is tonight and I'm looking forward to that too. I don't really have much to write about. I guess I'm just on here to type. I got a new keyboard to help me with my school work and when I get a job in medical transcription. I love it cause I can just put it on my lap and type with out having to hold the whole laptop.

Things here are good. Malakhi is obsessed with "num nums." Now as I'm typing this he is shoving bread in Matt's mouth. "NO KHI!" "Matt can't eat big boy food yet." lol he looks at me and smiles then laughs. "num num." Oh boy. I love being a stay at home mom.

I have learned so much about both of them now that I'm home and Khi got to see his first snail today. It left a wet spot on the ground and I said "EWWE!" Khi said "Pee Pee!"

Update and Operation SAHM

Okay for those of you who don't know since I don't get on here enough. OOPS. I am now a stay at home mom trying to do school. It is so hard for me and I am getting overwhelmed. There is a lot of pressure for me to bring in some income so I think I will try selling stuff on ebay first while I am going through my medical transcription course. I quit my job to stay home with they boys as this is what needed to be done for our whole family. It's just very hard.

Malakhi has a tooth! Yes you read it right. At 23 months he got his first tooth but you would never believe me cause you can't see it. lol. It's a molar. ha. It's not all the way in yet but it's there. He's also speaking in 2-word sentences. He will be 2 in 1 1/2 months. I can't believe how big he's getting. He is very helpful and loves taking care of his little brother. :)

Mateo is getting big too. He is almost 3 months old. He has been sleeping an average of 8 hours at night now. I love it. I'm finally getting some much needed sleep.

Well, I hate to be short but I need to go make my family some dinner. I think all are getting hungry. :)

2/19/09 - Off the lights

Ok I'm trying this post for the 3rd time. So here we go. Matt was able to come off the bili blanket today. He was able to get dressed and go outside today. I'm so releived.

Other good news is Malakhi's head has grown 1/2"! He is back on the charts for his age. I'm so happy. There was a small fear on the dr.'s part about his head growth. Now we just have to get some teeth. ;)

2/13/09 - Mateo is here!

Mateo arrived on 2/13/09 at 10:17am. He weighed in at 7lbs 3oz and was 19 3/4" long. He is adorable. He has dark black hair like his Papa. Malakhi did wonderful with him. He gave him kisses and hugs. I'm so proud of both my boys. :) Gonna try to get some sleep.

2/13/09 - Heading off to Labor and Delivery. :)

Well, it's 4:45 in the morning and I'm up getting ready to leave. I just need to pack a few more things in the car, get Malakhi up, make sure Lonnie is ready and off we go to have Mateo. I will post pics and stuff as soon as I can. Love to you all and thank you for all your support.

2/11/09

Wow. I have 2 days before Mateo comes. I only got 4 hours of sleep last night and I'm pooped. Soooooo tired. My mind is wandering like crazy. Not thinking about anything really just have songs stuck in my head. Not cool songs, kid songs. Yeah "What did Delaware?" "The horse walked around" Yeah all night I was singing these songs. I turned the tv on and no help. I got up and played on the computer. Still no sleep. Finally at 3 or so I fell asleep. When I woke up I though oh good it's morning. Nope it was 3:30. UGH! Oh well. Just tell myself 2 more days. 2 more days. 2 more days. HEHE

2/8/09 - New C-Section Date!

Well on Friday I went to the dr. I was laying on the table having a NST and praying that God would let the Dr. see the right due date. I felt that my due date was the 20th and his nurse put my due date as the 23rd. So then after that we went to the exam room and found I told my Dr. my theory. He agreed with me and said we could do the C-Section on the 13th because I will be 39 weeks. YAY!!!!!!!!! So Friday the 13th of February we will welcome our second son Mateo Mark-Ismael Pando. I'm so excited. Just our update.
